Julia Siegle: New Intern at GT Dems

I'm unbelievably excited to begin this internship and just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.

For a bit of background: I'm an incoming sophomore at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor where I plan to major in Public Policy and minor in German. At U of M, I'm in a social justice committee of the College Dems, a producer for a student-run news network, a research assistant within the political science department, and a member of a pre-law and public service professional fraternity.

As an intern for the GT Dems, I'm really looking forward to helping in whatever way I can to support good candidates who champion progressive causes. Although I'm not from the Traverse City area, I can't imagine a better place to be living and working this summer.
