May 20th was the 63rd Annual Northwestern Michigan College Barbecue, and the GT Dems as well as several candidates showed up in support.
The Grand Traverse Democrats had a table alongside Michigan House of Representatives candidate Dan O'Neil and Congressional candidate Matt Morgan. Morgan walked around engaging with members of the community, while Dan O'Neil volunteered serving food. Candidate for State Senate Jim Page was also in attendance, in addition to several of the seven Democratic county commission candidates.

Community members had the opportunity to learn more about the energetic presence of the Democratic Party in Grand Traverse County, as well as meet Democratic candidates directly.

It was a very successful event, and the GT Dems look forward to returning next year!
